DeepVeer Mumbai Reception: Here's why Salman Khan didn't attend the bash!

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Mumbai wedding reception was a starry affair as the who’s who of Bollywood attended the bash to wish the newly wedded couple. Some of the biggest names in B-town- Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif graced the party at Grand Hyatt and made it star-studded affair. On the same day, Priyanka Chopra and Nick got married according to Christian rituals at Umaid Bhawan Palace. One big name which was missing from DeepVeer’s reception was Salman Khan. The Bigg Boss 12 host, who is currently busy shooting for his film ‘Bharat’, couldn’t make it the reception party on Saturday. Salman couldn’t attend the bash because he was busy attending another wedding in Phuket, Thailand. The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ star was attending the wedding of Divya and Kunal. Salman shared a video on Twitter and Instagram where he can be dancing on his popular number ‘O O Jaane Jaana’. The ‘Dabangg’ actor even performed the hook step of the song from the film ‘Jab Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya ‘. The caption of the video read, “#aboutlastnight #kamaalkhan performance at #divyankunalwedding #Phuket @beingkamaalkhan.” Check out the video right here!

Although, Salman Khan couldn’t attend the bash, his co-stars from ‘Bharat’- Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani were there to wish Deepika and Ranveer for their wedding. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt also couldn’t make it to the reception as they had a jam-packed schedule. The two actors shot for 20 hours for their upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’ and hence they gave DeepVeer’s party a miss. Deepika and Ranveer got married on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como, Italy. The couple also hosted wedding receptions in Bangalore and Mumbai on November 21 and November 28 respectively. Watch this space for more updates!
