Deepika probably is doing better work than many today : Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor who was recently seen with her beautifull wife Mira on a dinner date has started shooting Padmavati. The performer will be seen alongside Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the film and it's his first trip with them and in addition Sanjay Leela Bhansali. When a daily asked him about working with Deepika after such a variety of offers, Shahid said, "In Padmavati, we have a lot of work together and I am really looking forward to working with her. I have been seeing her do some great work, especially in the last few years. She has really upped her game and she’s at her best right now. She’s probably doing better work than many today. So that’s awesome." He also added , "It’s great that we are working together in a film like Padmavati because it’s a great opportunity for anybody who’s a part of this film. I really feel that Padmavati is going to be a special film." Shahid has been in the business for right around 13 years and this is the first occasion when he will be found in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. When he was further asked  some information about what took him so long to work with the expert movie producer, the nice looking on-screen character said this ought to be asked to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, not him.
