Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor To Start Shooting On Double Shifts For Brahmastra: Reports

According to reports, Brahmastra still has 26 days of shooting left and the makers of the movie are planning to resume the shoot from October.

One of the most awaited movies of 2020 is Ayan Mukherjee's ‘Brahmastra’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor. The movie was slated to release on December 4 this year but going by the reports, producer Karan Johar is now eyeing on a June 2021 release. This film got delayed a couple of times and has 26 days of shoot left up to this time. According to the report by Mid-Day, the shoot can commence only if the COVID-19 crisis comes relatively under control. Also, Amitabh Bachchan has a pivotal role in the movie and his presence on the set is required. But as the government has restricted people above 65 years of age from working, the makers might try to reverse the decision. Ayan has broken down the shoot into two shifts — 9 am to 2 pm, followed by another from 4 pm to 9 pm. There will be two separate minimal crews for the stints, with each unit adhering to on-set safety guidelines. Since producer Karan Johar is eyeing a June 2021 release, Ayan wants to wrap up the shoot latest by December." The report added that the upcoming shoots will focus more on dialogue-based scenes and also, Ranbir will shoot for a song in the process. See the official logo of the movie here:
Other than Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan, the movie also stars Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy, Saurav Gurjar, and Nagarjuna in the key roles.
