'Boycott Kareena Kapoor Khan' Trends On Twitter After Actress Allegedly Demands Whopping Amount For Playing ‘Sita’

Mumbai: Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan has been trending on Twitter as netizens are demanding to boycott the ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ actress. Bebo started trending on Twitter after reports of her demanding a whopping amount of Rs 12 crore for playing the role of ‘Sita’ in the Bollywood recreation of Ramayana.

As soon as the report started doing rounds on social media, Twitteratis started slamming the ‘Good Newwz’ actress on social media for asking for this whopping amount to portray the role of ‘Sita’. This allegedly hurt the religious sentiments of the people.

Reportedly, this Bollywood recreation of the Hindu epic ‘Ramayana’ will tell the story from Sita’s perspective. This film will be reportedly directed by Ravi Udhyawar and Nitesh Tiwari.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be next seen starring opposite Aamir Khan in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. This movie is the Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’ where Tom Hanks portrayed the role of the protagonist. She was last seen featuring in the 2020 film ‘Angrezi Medium’ starring Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan in the lead roles.
