New Delhi: Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Border 2’ has found a new cast addition. Ahan Shetty has officially joined the cast of the film. Directed by Anurag Singh, ‘Border 2’ is the sequel of the iconic war film ‘Border’. The action-packed film which will be another ode to patriotism has got fans excited with the new cast announcement.

‘Border 2’ is slated to be released on the occasion of Republic Day 2026 around January 23, 2026. The makers took to their official social media handle to announce the news.

Ahan Shetty joins Border 2 cast

Ahan Shetty shared the announcement on his official Instagram account and wrote, “Border is more than a film—it’s a legacy, an emotion, and a dream come true. Ironic how life works—my journey with Border started 29 years ago, when mom visited dad on set while pregnant with me. I grew up hearing OP Dutta’s legendary stories, holding JP uncle’s hand, and sitting by @nidhiduttaofficial side. I never realized how much those moments would shape my love for cinema and the Indian Armed Forces.”

“Now, being part of Border 2 is an absolute honour. JP uncle, thank you for continuing to hold my hand, I hope to make you very very proud.
