Fans have been eagerly hoping for a collaboration between the two actors. Recently, director Anees Bazmee talked about Akshay and Kartik coming together for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4’.

Director Anees Bazmee recently spoke about the possibility of Akshay Kumar returning to ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4’. He said it would be exciting to collaborate but added that it would depend on the script.

“There is a great bond of friendship, love, and everything. If the story fits, I’d be really happy to have him back," Bazmee told Pinkvilla.

Last month, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ hit theaters, starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri in lead roles. The film received a strong positive response and earned over Rs 400 crore at the Indian box office.

Director Anees Bazmee recently reflected on its box office performance, noting that the film could have achieved even greater success if it hadn't clashed with ‘Singham Again’.

“It would have been great for both the films without a clash. If we had a solo release, then the business would have doubled and the same applies to them as well. I know that, I believe it. Main kuch kar naahi sakta tha (I couldn’t do anything about it). We announced over a year ago that we will come on this day. All the work was going on at full speed because we have made the film in a very less period of time. We started the film in March and released in November," Bazmee told Galatta Plus.
