For the third installment of the franchise, actor Vidya Balan, who portrayed the original Manjulika in the 2007 hit film, is coming back.

Talking about her return, Anees added, “Look, Vidya had agreed to do a 3-day role in my film Thank You. I remember calling her, and she taking no time to give her nod of consent. On Monday, Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram to welcome Vidya Balan and share a mash-up of the song 'Ami Je Tomar' featuring the actor dancing to the song from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' and Kartik from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'.

He wrote in the caption, “And its happening, Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya. This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3."
