‘Bhediya’ Release Date Announced! Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon’s Horror Flick To Hit the Theatres Next Year

There is some good news for all the Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon fans as the release date of ‘Bhediya’ has been announced. Read on.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has been recently making the headlines for his wedding with Natasha Dalal last month. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony at Alibaug in the presence of their close friends and family members. Soon after his wedding, the ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ actor resumed his shooting schedule and started completing his work commitments.

Recently, there were reports doing rounds that the ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ actor will start shooting for his upcoming horror flick ‘Bhediya’ in Arunachal Pradesh. Kriti Sanon will be seen starring opposite Varun in this horror drama.

Well, there is some good news for all the Varun-Kriti fans as the release date of ‘Bhediya’ has been announced. Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter account and announced the release date of this upcoming horror movie.

He tweeted, “VARUN DHAWAN - KRITI SANON IN #BHEDIYA... #VarunDhawan and #KritiSanon to star in #Bhediya... Costars #DeepakDobriyal... #Stree and #Bala director Amar Kaushik will direct... #Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan presentation... 14 April 2022 release.”

Taran Adarsh also revealed the first look of the film. Directed by the ‘Stree’ director Amar Kaushik, this movie will co-star Deepak Dobriyal other than Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. The movie will hit the screens on April 14, 2022.

This is not the first time that Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon will be sharing the screen. They earlier starred in Rohit Shetty’s movie ‘Dilwale’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Their pair was much loved by the viewers.

Varun Dhawan started his Bollywood career with the 2012 teen drama ‘Student Of The Year’. This movie also marked the debut of two other actors of this generation - Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. He then starred in several other movies like ‘Badlapur’, ‘October’, ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘ABCD 2’ and others.

Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, made her Bollywood debut 2 years after the ‘Dishoom’ actor in the year 2014 with the movie ‘Heropanti’ opposite Tiger Shroff. She then starred in movies like ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Dilwale’ and others.

While other than ‘Bhediya’, Varun will be next seen starring in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, Kriti has ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Mimi’ in her kitty.
