B-town celebs shower blessings on Shahid and Mira's newborn

New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor and his pretty wife Mira Rajput welcomed their baby girl on Friday, soaked in bliss, the actor took to Twitter to share the news with his fans and friends. "She has arrived and words fall short to express our happiness. Thank you for all your wishes," wrote the 35-year-old actor.
Within moments after his post, wishes started to pour in, several from the fraternity including Karan Johar, Anushka Sharma, Riteish Deshmukh, Alia Bhatt, Preity Zinta and many more posted congratulatory messages and wished the newly born. Actress Anushka Sharma tweeted, "Congratulations to both of you & lots of love & good health for the baby girl !!!" "Huge congratulations to @shahidkapoor and Mira....nothing more precious than a baby girl....lots of love!", wrote Karan Johar. Preity Zinta in her post said, "Congrats my dear @shahidkapoor & the beautiful Mira on the arrival of their little Princess Loads of love, happiness & more love always." Actress Alia Bhatt, all excited to see the little one, tweeted, "Congratulationssssssss to the most amazing couple @shahidkapoor @MiraRajput !!!!! Can't wait to see this beautiful baby girl!!!!" Riteish Deshmukh along with wife Genelia also wished the couple, "Congratulations @shahidkapoor & Mira on birth of an angel. Welcome to the club my friend. Love & blessings to the little one," he posted. Shahid married Delhi-based graduation student Mira last year. On the professional front, the 'Udta Punjab' actor is currently busy with the post-production of his next film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Rumours also claim that Shahid will be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next big project.
