Ayodhya SC Verdict: Celebs Farhan Akhtar, Taapsee, Sehwag, Huma, Nimrat, & Others React

SC orders that Central Govt within 3-4 months formulate scheme for setting up of trust and hand over the disputed site to it for construction of temple at the site and a suitable alternative plot of land measuring 5 acres at Ayodhya will be given to Sunni Wakf Board.

The much awaited verdict by Supreme Court over the disputed Ayodhya land is out and SC orders that Central Govt within 3-4 months formulate scheme for setting up of trust and hand over the disputed site to it for construction of temple at the site and a suitable alternative plot of land measuring 5 acres at Ayodhya will be given to Sunni Wakf Board. While the whole nation had eyes set on the decision since morning, the Bollywood and Sports celebrities have also been keenly waiting for it and now with the final verdict out, Shekhar Kapur, Virender Sehwag, Shruti Seth, actor-dancer Kunwar Amar are among the first few who have given their instant reactions to it via social media.

Virender Sehwag posted an image of Lord Ram and wrote on Twitter- "Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram". While Shruti Seth is happy with the verdict by SC giving both the mandir and the masjid land in Ayodhya. Reacting to the final verdict she posted Indian Flag emojis on Twitter and in the following tweet she wrote- "Let’s all pray for peace together now. Jai Hind".

There is clear evidence that Hindus believe Lord Ram was born at the disputed site, Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi said on Saturday, reading the "unanimous" judgement on the Ayodhya title suit in a packed courtroom on Saturday. There is adequate material in the Archaeological Survey of India report to conclude the following: "Babri Masjid was not constructed on vacant land. There was a structure underlying the disputed structure." "The underlying structure was not an Islamic structure." Ram Janmabhoomi not a juristic person, the SC held. The claim of the Nirmohi Akhara is only of management. Nirmohi Akhara is not a Shabait, the apex court ruled.

He said the Court set up under the Constitutional scheme should defer from interfering with faith and belief of worshippers. The CJI said that secularism is the basic feature of the Constitution and the court should preserve balance. The mosque built by Mir Baqi was on the order of Babur. "Idols were placed in the mosque in 1949," the court read. Earlier, Gogoi said the Ayodhya Judgment will be an unanimous judgment.
