Atif Aslam replaces Arijit Singh in A Flying Jatt

Karachi: Singer Arijit Singh, who has given back to back hits including ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Soch Na Sake’ and ‘Muskurane’, will not render his voice in Remo D’Souza’s directorial ‘A Flying Jatt’ as reports suggest that Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has been roped in for this project. According to a report in Express Tribune, Arijit, 29, was initially roped in for a track in the upcoming superhero movie. However, Atif later rendered his voice in this flick. The music composer duo Sachin-Jigar, who has scored the music for the film, denied the news and was quoted by Midday as saying, “This is a hoax. Arijit Singh hasn’t sung any song for A Flying Jatt.” However, a source close to Arijit confirmed the development, saying, “No one is irreplaceable, in any walk of life. Whether you are a singer or a doctor, there will always be others to take over your place.” This is not the first time when the ‘Gerua’ singer has been replaced. Earlier, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan replaced him in ‘Sultan’s track ‘Jag Ghoomeya’. Starring Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez, the upcoming movie is slated to hit theatres on August 25.
