Singer Arijit Singh was recently spotted at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment speculating the end of nearly a decade-long feud. The singer will be lending his vocal for Salman for ‘Tiger 3’.

New Delhi: Singer Arijit Singh was recently spotted at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment speculating about the end of nearly a decade-long feud. It seems the speculations were right and the feud has indeed ended as the singer will be lending his vocal for Salman for ‘Tiger 3’.

YRF honcho Aditya Chopra has roped in Arjit to sing two songs for 'Tiger 3'. The first song, Leke Prabhu Ka Naam, will be released on October 23 and is a dance number featuring Salman and Katrina Kaif.

Salman took to Instagram to share the first look of the song featuring him and Katrina. He wrote in the caption, “Pehle gaane ki pehli jhalak (The first glimpse of the first song) #LekePrabhuKaNaam! Oh haan, yeh hai Arijit Singh ka pehla gaana mere liye (Oh yes, this is Arijit Singh's first song for me). Song out on 23rd Oct.”

The second song is a romantic track that will touch the hearts of audiences and fans alike!

Director Maneesh Sharma said: “We can’t wait for Leke Prabhu Ka Naam to drop next week! It’s an out and out party track and having Arijit’s voice on top of Salman’s swag, is the cherry on top! Katrina’s ethereal beauty and the chemistry between the two makes it the perfect formula to have everyone dancing!”

“We had a lot of fun filming in Cappadocia, Turkey, and this will be another huge dance chartbuster to add to the already enviable list of successes that Salman and Katrina have had together.”

Music director Pritam added: “It was a collaboration that was waiting to happen. Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars and Arijit Singh, our generation’s top singing sensation. These two stalwarts coming together for a song was long overdue and we are thrilled that it is happening for Tiger 3!”

Arijit and the actor got into a tiff almost a decade ago at an award function that Salman was hosting. As the megastar was hosting the event, he called Arijit Singh to receive an award on the stage. When the singer arrived, Salman told him, "Tu hai winner (You’re the winner)?” , who was dressed in a very casual manner. To this, the singer replied, "Aap logon ne sula diya (You all put me to sleep).” Following this, it was reported widely that Arijit Singh'a songs were removed from Salman Khan's films including 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Kick' and 'Sultan'.

In 2016, Arijit Singh had issued a public apology to Salman, pleading him to retain his version of the song in 'Sultan'. The singer wrote in his post that he had tried to apologise a number of times to Salman through text and mail but to no avail.

"...you (Salman) are mistaken about the fact that I insulted you.”

About Sultan’s song, he wrote, “I have sung enough songs sir. But I want to retire with at least one song of you keeping in my library. Please do not take away this feeling.”

Tiger 3 is set to release this year on November 12.
