Mumbai: In a major development, teams of Narcotics Control Bureau paid a ‘visit’ to the residences of Shah Rukh Khan and Ananya Panday in Thursday (October 21) as part of their investigation in the seizure of drugs case. The NCB has also summoned Ananya Panday to appear before the officials in connection with the alleged rave party case. 

Why Was Ananya Summoned By NCB?

NCB DDG Ashok Mutha Jain didn't divulge any detail about Ananya's summon and said that the federal agency is following the procedure after conducting the raid.

"A search was conducted this morning, we have given our summons, now we will follow the procedure, can't disclose further," Ashok was quoted as saying by ANI.

The star kid, who made her Bollywood debut with 'Student Of The Year 2' opposite Tiger Shroff, was spotted leaving her residence by the paparazzi on Thursday afternoon. Her father accompanied her as she arrived at NCB's office in Mumbai.

Why NCB Visited Shah Rukh Khan's House?

The NCB visited SRK’s 'Mannat' shortly after the Bombay High Court decided to take up the actor’s son Aryan Khan's bail application on October 26. The anti-drugs law enforcement agency, which collected documents related to Aryan, maintained that no raids were conducted at Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's sea-facing bungalow.

"NCB team visited Shah Rukh Khan's residence to collect some documents related to Aryan Khan. No raids were conducted at Mannat," NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede was quoted as saying by ANI.

Ananya Panday's Upcoming Films

On the professional front, Ananya was last seen in 'Khaali Peeli' opposite Ishaan Khatter. She has several exciting projects in her kitty including Shakun Batra's next, 'Liger' and 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan'. The 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' actress will share screen-space with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi in Shakun Batra's yet-to-be titled film.
