Amidst the excitement, rumors were swirling that Akshay Kumar would make a cameo appearance in the horror-comedy. However, Akshay has addressed these speculations, calling them “fake news.”

Akshay Kumar to make a cameo in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3?

The actor, who was a part of the first film in the series, confirmed he will not be appearing in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. When asked about the cameo, he said, “No, absolutely not. It’s fake news.”

While he won't be seen in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', Akshay recently made a special appearance in 'Stree 2', joining Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, hinting at future collaborations within Dinesh Vijan’s growing horror-comedy universe.

Akshay Kumar to star in Bhooth Bangla

On the topic of horror-comedies, Akshay Kumar, on his birthday, announced his upcoming project titled 'Bhooth Bangla'. He also shared the motion poster for the film on his Instagram, writing, “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all.
