Bachchan Pandey: Akshay Kumar Shoots For His Next In Jaisalmer, Video From Set Goes Viral

Akshay Kumar will be seen in a different avatar in Farhad Samji's 'Bachchan Pandey'.

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon are all set to share screen-space once again in the upcoming film 'Bachchan Pandey'. The action drama, directed by Farhad Samji, recently went on floors in Jaisalmer. Movie buffs are quite excited for the flick as Khiladi Kumar will be seen essaying the role of a gangster, who aspires to be an actor. Kriti Sanon, last seen in ‘Panipat’, will play a journalist in the much-awaited film.

Last week, Akshay started commenced the shoot for ‘Bachchan Pandey’ in Jaisalmer. The ‘PadMan’ actor shared his new look from the film and asked his fans to tell him about the same.

“New year, old associations...begun shooting for #BachchanPandey, my 10th film with #SajidNadiadwala, and hopefully many more. Need your best wishes and do tell me your thoughts on the look,” the caption for the post read.

 

A fan club of the actor shared a video from the sets of the film on social media. The clip suggested that Akshay and the movie’s team ae currently busy shooting in Nachna Haveli, Jaisalmer. The ‘Rustom’ actor can be seen getting into a car in the video which is making waves on the internet. Check it out!

 

‘Bachchan Pandey’ was slated to hit the silver screens on December 25, 2020; however, the makers changed the film’s date it was clashing with Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The release date was changed to January 22, 2021 but the cast and crew couldn’t commence the shoot due to the COVID-19 crisis last year.

‘Bachchan Pandey’ also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pankaj Tripathi, Arshad Warsi and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar has several exciting projects in his kitty. He will be next seen in the spy thriller ‘BellBottom’, which will release on April 2, 2021. The movie also stars Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi.

Akshay also has ‘Atrangi Re’ and ‘Prithviraj’ in pipeline. His cop action drama ‘Sooryavanshi’ couldn’t release last year due to the COVID-19 crisis. The makers of the film are yet to announce a new release date.
