Bachchan Pandey release date: Akshay Kumar shared his new look from 'Bachchan Pandey' and revealed when his film will hit the silver screens.

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Bachchan Pandey’ has been making waves ever since the project was announced. Earlier this month, Farhad Samji directorial went on floors in Jaisalmer. The makers of the film have announced the release date of ‘Bachchan Pandey’. The much-awaited flick will entertain the audience in the cinema halls next year.

‘Bachchan Pandey’ will hit the silver screens on Republic Day 2022. The action drama will release in the theatres on January 26 next year. The producers also released a new look of Akshay Kumar to make the announcement.

The ‘PadMan’ star took to social media to share his look from ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and announce the release date. He tweeted, “His one look is enough! #BachchanPandey releasing on 26th January, 2022!” Khiladi Kumar's badass avatar has already managed to create anticipation for the film.

Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of a gangster, who aspires to be an actor in ‘Bachchan Pandey’. Kriti Sanon will essay the role of a journalist in the movie. The two tinsel town celebs have previously worked in ‘Housefull 4’, which emerged as a box office hit.

‘Bachchan Pandey’ was originally slated to release on December 25, 2020; however, the makers decided to change the date as it was clashing with Aamir Khan starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The highly anticipated flick also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pankaj Tripathi, Arshad Warsi and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar has several exciting projects in his kitty. His next film ‘BellBottom’ is slated for a release on April 2, 2021. The spy thriller also stars Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi.

Akki also has ‘Atrangi Re’ and ‘Prithviraj’ in pipeline. His cop action drama ‘Sooryavanshi’ couldn’t release on its scheduled date because of the COVID-19 crisis.
