In the vlog, the couple also said how Dipika told Shoaib about the pregnancy. Shoaib said, “I was shooting in Chandivali. Dipika called me and said she is sending a photo. So she sent a photo of the test and I told her to stay calm. Because we had been through it.”

Dipika shared, “We were happy but so scared that even to celebrate that moment there was a bit of hesitation. I had a strong feeling that it would happen this time. We were very careful this time.”

Shoaib also revealed that they informed his mother after 15, 20 days as she had taken it to heart last time.

Dipika also posted another video where she spoke about the complications, she faced in her first trimester. She said, "So basically mujhe jo hai thodi si spotting shuru hone lagi thi (there was spotting). It wasn't too much in the beginning. I was told by the doctor to rest it out and no medication was required. But within two days, it increased. That's when I was asked to come down for a scan. Through the scan we learnt that there was a small bleed. It was harmful because at that stage the baby is very tiny. And the bleed was bigger than that. It was worrisome. She put me on required medicines and complete bed rest. I used to lie down all day long and walk just from one room to another."

Dipika also praised Shoaib for being supportive and keeping her happy.

In their joint announcement note about pregnancy, Shoaib and Dipika wrote, “Sharing this news with you all with our hearts full of Gratitude, Happiness, Excitement and Also nervousness Humari life ka ye Sabse khoobsurat phase hai…Yessss We are Expecting Our First Child!! Going to Embrace Parenthood Soon #alhamdulillah Aapki dher saari duaon aur pyaar ki zaroorat hai (We need your prayers and love) for our little one #shoaika #parentstobe #allahkashukar.”
