Noida: Great negligence of Noida Authority has come to the fore as a picture of actor Farhan Akhtar was put up in place of Milkha Singh on the racing track built by the authority at the Noida Stadium. After the photo went viral on social media, the administration swung into action and the photo was taken down immediately.

The picture of reel-life Milkha Singh on the track went viral on social media, after which people on social media slammed the authority. The authority officials immediately removed the picture of Farhan Akhtar on the racing track. Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari herself tweeted and informed that the picture of actor Farhan Akhtar on the racing track of Noida Stadium has been removed and that soon the picture of Flying Sikh Milkha Singh will be painted there.

Farhan Akhtar portrayed the role of Milkha Singh in the sports biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. The actor was so good at painting Milkha Singh’s picture on-screen that the audience couldn’t get enough of the uncanny resemblance between the two. The film was both critically and commercially successful.
