After a hiatus of seven years, Aishwarya Rajinikanth made a return to the director's chair with the film 'Lal Salaam,' advocating for Hindu-Muslim unity. The movie features her father, the iconic superstar Rajinikanth, in an extended cameo role, thrilling fans who flocked to theaters to celebrate the release in true Rajinikanth style.

'Lal Salaam' is a Tamil sports drama backed by Lyca Productions starring Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, KS Ravikumar and Thambi Ramaiah. The film's musical score was done by the maestro AR Rahman.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth, known for her previous hits like '3' and 'Vai Raja Vai,' once again demonstrates her directorial prowess with 'Lal Salaam', according to early reviews.

In Tamil Nadu, the reviews of the first show are yet to be released since the FDFS showtime was changed from 4 AM to 9 AM a while ago.
