Her lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui told ABP News that the actress suffered losses worth Rs 2 crore as the BMC officials went on to destroy several expensive artefacts and luxury items inside the building. He informed that Kangana has a penchant for buying such designer items.
Elaborating the difference between professional and commercial usage of properties, he said that the likes of actors, architects and CAs fall under the category of professionals. “It is a bungalow and used for professional activities and not primarily used as an office,” he stated.

Targeting the BMC he said: “Never have i seen such an action in my entire career. It is evident that it was driven by ulterior motive, hidden agenda behind all this. Doesn't BMC, Bandra police officers have anything else to do during covid times?”
"Will make sure damages will be recovered at any cost," Siddiqui asserted.
Meanwhile, actress Kangana Ranaut who landed in Mumbai only yesterday, visited her Pali Hill Bungalow and took a stock of the damage done by the BMC officials. Earlier in the day, her sister Rangoli Chandel visited the Pali Hill property.
Shortly after BMC started the demolition on Wednesday, Bombay High Court stayed the operation. The court also asked BMC to file a reply to her petition in the matter. Kangana, through her lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui, had moved the High Court against the demolition of what the BMC had termed as "illegal alterations" at her office.
