Kangana Ranaut Opens Up On Her Plans To Get Married. Says, 'I Do Want To Get Married, But..."
Kangana who is known for never shying away from talking about both her personal and professional lives, opened up about her marriage plans.
New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming production debut 'Tiku Weds Sheru'. The actress has been actively participating in promotional activities as the film's premiere draws near. Amid all this, Kangana who is known for never shying away from talking about both her personal and professional lives, opened up about her marriage plans in a recent interview with news agency ANI.
Talking exclusively to ANI on Wednesday, Kangana said, "There’s a time for everything and if that time has to come in my life then it will come. I do want to get married and have my own family… but, at the right time it will happen."
Talking about 'Tiku Weds Sheru', the story is about the tale of an unlikely couple who come together to make a life in the city of dreams- Mumbai. Sheru is a junior financier in the film industry, while Tiku is a bubbly girl who marries young to move to Mumbai in order to become an actress. The film stars Nawazzuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the lead roles, with Sheru being played by Nawaz while Tiku being played by Avneet.
Recently, the makers of the film released the official trailer which recieved great response from the audience. It showcased the ups and downs in the lives of an unconventional couple- a junior artist and an aspiring actor, who begin their mad-cap journey as they hustle together to achieve their ambitions in the city of dreams, Mumbai.
Sharing what made him say yes to the film, Nawazuddin earlier said to ANI, "Tiku Weds Sheru is a comedy-drama that weaves elements of real-life struggles that people go through with a unique love story. Tiku and Sheru, are very different personalities who have a common dream. What excited me about Sheru is that while personifying challenges faced by individuals aspiring to achieve success in the entertainment industry, he is relatable, brings his own set of quirks, and stands out as an endearing character."
The movie, directed by Sai Kabir Srivastav is set to stream on Amazon Prime from June 23.
