Mumbai Police Arrests Kangana Ranaut’s Bodyguard Kumar Hegde In Karnataka

The officials of D.N. Nagar police station arrested the accused Kumar Hegde in his village. Kumar Hegde had gone to his village Heggadahalli located in Mandya district of Karnataka to get married.

Mumbai: A Mumbai-based beautician accused Kangana Ranaut's personal bodyguard Kumar Hegde of raping her several times by giving her the promise of marriage a few days back. She lodged an FIR at DN Nagar Police Station of Mumbai. An FIR was lodged against him in the city police station. Since then, the Mumbai Police has been on the lookout for Kumar Hegde. Eventually, the search for the Mumbai Police ended in Kumar Hegde's village in Karnataka.

The officials of D.N. Nagar police station arrested the accused Kumar Hegde in his village. Kumar Hegde had gone to his village Heggadahalli located in Mandya district of Karnataka to get married. His phone has been switched off since 28th April. The victim and the police have been trying to contact Kumar Hege since then.

The Mumbai police, who had gone to arrest Kumar Hegde, had also taken the victim and her friend Divya Kotian from Mumbai to Karnataka. After completing the procedures to bring Kumar Hegde to Mumbai after his arrest on Saturday, the police also took the accused to the local court.

Victim's friend Divya Kotian confirmed to ABP News about the news of Kumar Hegde's arrest and said, “At this time I, accused Kumar Hegde, my victim friend and police officers who went from Mumbai to Karnataka for arrest are all returning in a train from Karnataka. We will all reach Mumbai by Sunday night by Mysore-Dadar Express.”

Divya Kotian had advised her beautician friend to complain against Kumar Hegde to the police and helped her in this. After this, Divya said while talking to ABP News that Kumar Hegde also had sex with her friend in an unnatural way and took Rs 50,000 from the victim.

According to the complaint filed against Kumar Hegde in the city police station, the accused and the victim knew each other for the last 8 years. But a year ago, the accused proposed the victim for marriage and since then both the accused and the victim had lived as live-in partners. But according to the victim, after promising marriage and raping her several times on the pretext of it, the accused turned away from his promise and went to his village and started making excuses about his mother's death. But later the victim came to know that Kumar Hegde had gone to his village to get married. In such a situation, in between the preparations for marriage, the Mumbai police arrested Kumar Hegde in his village in Karnataka.
