New Delhi: The team of upcoming Shahid Kapoor starrer film 'Jersey' is all happy and excited. The reason being the much-awaited film's trailer releasing tomorrow on November 23 at 5:30 pm. Shahid Kapoor took to his Instagram handle to announce the trailer's release date and share his happiness with his fans.
The actor who plays the lead role in the movie as a cricketer, said that the makers were eagerly awaiting this moment. Sharing the film's poster, the 'Jab We Met' actor wrote,"ITS TIME! We have waited to share this emotion with you for 2 years. This story is special. This team is special. This character is special. And the fact that we get to share it on the big screen with you all is special. I don't have words to express my gratitude. I hope you all feel what I felt when I played him. Here you go."

The film stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the film. 'Jersey' is set to hit theatres on December 31, 2021. Shahid Kapoor is all set to get the audience bowled with his performance in the movie that marks his next big theatrical release after the blockbuster 'Kabir Singh'.
