Deadpool & Wolverine Box Office Collection: Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer movie did really well in India on Friday. The superhero flick brought in around Rs 22 crore in India, according to Sacnilk.com. Shawn Levy directed the latest installment in the franchise, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’.

According to early estimates, the movie earned about Rs 21.5 crore nett in India on its opening day for all languages. The report states that the movie made Rs 21.5 crore [Rs 11.7 crore in English, Rs 7.5 crore in Hindi, Rs 1.2 crore in Telugu, and Rs 1.1 crore in Tamil]. On Friday, 'Deadpool and Wolverine' had an overall English occupancy of 33.32%.

Ryan Reynolds plays the infamously violent, crude, and sexually explicit 'Deadpool' in Disney's first R-rated Marvel movie. The sharp-clawed mutant Wolverine is portrayed by Hugh Jackman. According to Disney, the film has made $64.8 million outside of the US and Canada since its worldwide release.

Speaking about collaborating with Jackman, Reynolds says, “I’m usually the Chatty Cathy, but [I loved] getting to watch Hugh feel every syllable of that speech, just watching it executed at that level. As someone who wrote that speech, I was having an out-of-body experience. I was like, I’ve never felt so good about anything in my life while still trying to stay in character. Watching him work like that was one of the highlights of my entire career, probably.”
