New Delhi: Actress and Charlie Chaplin's daughter Josephine Chaplin has passed away. She was 74. According to Variety, the actress died unexpectedly on July 13 in Paris, according to a statement released by her family. She is survived by her three sons Julein Ronet, Charlie, and Arthur; and her siblings Michael, Geraldine, Victoria, Jane, Annette; Eugene, and Christopher, as reported by Variety.
Josephine Chaplin was the third child of Charlie Chaplin and Oona O'Neill. She was born on March 28, 1949, in Santa Monica, California. Her first movie role was in her father's film 'Limelight,' which came out in 1952.
Josephine has appeared in a number of films, such as Richard Balducci's 'L'odeur des fauves' and the Oscar-winning 'The Canterbury Tales' by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
Later, in 1984, she had a starring role in the Canadian drama 'The Bay Boy', which also included the debut of Kiefer Sutherland.
