New Delhi: Superstar Rajinikanth celebrates his 70^th birthday today December 12, 2020). Born in a Marathi family in Bangalore, the superstar started his acting career with K. Balachander's 1975 Tamil drama ‘Apoorva Raagangal’. He gained recognition and stardom with his 1980 movie ‘Billa', which is the Tamil remake of Amitabh Bachchan's hit movie 'Don'. Since then, there has no stopping for ‘Thalaiva’ as he went to star in several movies and has won many awards including ‘Padma Bhushan’ and ‘Padma Vibhushan’.
