The magic of Rocking Star Yash played a significant role with his blockbuster 'KGF chapter 2', which brought back the lost charm and craze of the theaters. 

More than half of 2022 has passed and seen many films that have done a really commendable job at the box office. Let us look back at the films that proved themselves as top collector at the box office. 

1. KGF Chapter 2

Topping all charts, Yash's KGF Chapter 2 is by far the biggest film of 2022. The actor single-handedly brought the long lost charm and excitement of the Indian audience, with anticipation levels of the film shooting through the roof. The film has performed extremely well by collecting the figure of Rs. 4,27,49,00,000 at the box office. Yash aka Rocky Bhai’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ shattered almost every Box Office record and as the action entertainer recently also celebrated its 100 days of theatrical release. 

2. RRR

A yet another cinematic wonder by the veteran filmmaker, S. S. Rajamouli, RRR brought all the massy entertainer feels to the theaters. It certainly brought a storm at the box office by collecting Rs. 2,75,01,00,000 all over the nation. Bringing a phenomenal star cast like Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt all together in the film, Rajamouli gave enough reason for the audience to run to the theaters. 

3. The Kashmir Files

While the film has provoked the deep-rooted emotions of the masses it has certainly rocked the box office by collecting Rs. 2,46,91,00,000 on a pan-India basis. Ever since its release, where the film has captured the audience's attention, it has also brought a huge storm at the box office. Moreover, the film has proved itself as a big game changer having studded with the emotions that have driven the nation towards a new topic. 

4. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Bringing a second installment of the much-loved film, Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, also became the saviour, especially for Bollywood audiences. The film eventually rang the box office registers by collecting Rs. 1,81,60,50,000 all over the nation. Kartik's epic comic timing, super charming looks and the ability to connect well with the masses, made him the true 'messiah' at the Bollywood box offices. 

5. Gangubai Kathiawadi

Coming from the house of the veteran director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film showcased one of the best works by the talented Alia Bhatt. Being based on a real story, this biographical crime drama film went on to collect the figure of Rs. 1,26,32,00,000 at the box office. A mass audience was carried by Alia's brilliant performance in the film while it went on to give a tough competition to the films released at the same time.
