Former Lebanese-American porn star Mia Khalifa tweeted in favour of the farmers’ protest taking place in the country, following which some group of people strongly opposed her. After this, Mia again tweeted in this regard on Friday and said that she will not bow down to her side. Khalifa shared a picture of the protest against herself and Greta Thunberg on Twitter.

In the post shared by Mia, protestors can be seen holding placards which read ‘Mia Khalifa regains consciousness’. Replying to this, the actress took to her official Twitter handle revealing that she is ‘still standing with the farmers’ and that she has indeed ‘regained consciousness’. Her tweet read, “Confirming I have in fact regained consciousness, and would like to thank you for your concern, albeit unnecessary. Still standing with the farmers, though”

Take a look at Mia Khalifa’s earlier tweet on the farmers’ protest.

On a related note, the agitating farmers have called for a ‘chakka bandh’ on February 6, 2021, for protesting against the farm laws. It is expected to be a three-hour-long blockade between 12 pm to 3 pm and many security arrangements have been made for that.
