Drishyam 2 Actor Shriya Saran Reacts To Being Trolled For Kissing Husband In Public

Recently, Shriya Saran responded to online critics who called her out for kissing her husband Andrei Koscheev.

New Delhi: A day before ‘Drishyam 2’ release, actress Shriya Saran and her husband Andrei Koscheev were in attendance at a special screening of the film. Pictures of Shriya in a stunning red saree from the screening are getting viral online. There were also videos of her kissing Andrei at the event. Many online users were offended by this show of affection. The kiss she had with her partner was even mocked.

Recently, Shriya Saran responded to online critics who called her out for kissing her husband Andrei Koscheev.

In an interview with News18, Shriya stated that "It’s kind of funny! Andrei thinks that it’s normal to kiss me during my special moment and I think it’s beautiful. He doesn’t understand why we would be trolled for something so natural. But it is okay, it is fine (laughs)! I don’t read bad comments or react to them. It’s their (trolls) job to write and my job is to avoid them. I only do what I’ve to do.”

Shriya Saran continued discussing her husband's thoughts on movies like Drishyam 2 and RRR, both of which she has starred in. She said, "He really loved it but he told me that he needs to watch it again to understand it properly. The other day, we were talking about it at two o’clock in the morning, which was really interesting. The film is like that because there’s so much going and by the end of it, you’re trying to figure out what happened.”

'Drishyam 2' has been directed by Abhishek Pathak and is the remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name besides also being a sequel to the crime thriller 'Drishyam' which was released in 2015. The movie hit the cinema halls on November 18.

Shriya Saran will be next featured in R Chandru’s ‘Kabzaa’, a gangster drama starring Upendra and Sudeep of Sandalwood.
