‘Delhi Crime’ Wins The Emmy International Awards 2020 For Best Drama

New Delhi: ‘Delhi Crime’ is a crime drama web series starring Shefali Shah, Rasika Duggal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh tailing in prominent roles. Helmed by Richie Mehta, this web series was released on Netflix on March 22, 2019, and is based on the 2012 Delhi gang-rape case that took place in the neighbourhood of Munirka, in South Delhi. ‘Made In Heaven’, ‘Delhi Crime’, ‘Four More Shots Please!’ Bag Nomination At International Emmy Awards 2020 The web series was nominated for the Best Drama Series category in the International Emmy Awards this year. It is a proud moment for all of us as ‘Delhi Crime’ has won the Best Drama Award in the International Emmy Awards. Actor Adil Hussain took to his Twitter to share the news and congratulate his team from the series. His tweet read, “Delhi Crime #DelhiCrime wins the Emmy @iemmys International Awards for Best Drama. The International Emmy Award is an award bestowed by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS) in recognition of the best television programs. The IATAS was founded in 1969 and is comprised of leading entertainment figures from the Television industry from over 50 countries. It is a non-profit, membership organization based out of New York. In 2019, Radhika Apte also bagged the nomination in the Best Performance By An Actress category for ‘Lust Stories’.
