New Delhi: Bollywood actress Dia Mirza has been very vocal about climate changes issues both at a national and international level. The actress is a hardcore environmentalist and has been discussing the urgent need to preserve natural resources for a long time now.

The 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein' actress follows a lifestyle that is greener and environment-centric in nature.

Dia Mirza keeps sharing and reacting to news related to saving the environment. Recently, she responded to information shared by Sky News which claimed that 'human penises are shrinking because of pollution, warns scientist'.

The 'Thappad' actress was quick to respond to this news and that too, in a hilarious way. She quoted the news and wrote, "Now maybe the world will take #ClimateCrises and #AirPollution a little more seriously?"


Also, after the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, Dia shared a statement saying that it is a 'wake up call' for everyone to work together to maintain the balance of the environment. 

A portion of the statement read, "COVID-19 a zoonoses virus doesn't regard geographical boundaries. It is a message from nature. A wake-up call for all to work together to protect, secure, restore ecological balance. Because our health is determined by the health of the environment. This is the time for solidarity, unity, humanity to act together to combat and recover from the loss and inequalities caused by this war against a virus."

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Mirza was last seen starring in the 2020 movie 'Thappad'. She will next be seen starring in the Telugu film 'Wild Dog'.
