When Saif Ali Khan Planned A Special Valentine’s Surprise For Kareena Kapoor In LA

Ameesha Patel recently recalled working with Saif Ali Khan in the 2008 film ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ and shared an interesting anecdote about his early days of dating Kareena Kapoor.

Saif and Kareena’s love story began in 2007 while filming Tashan, and they soon became one of Bollywood’s most talked-about couples.

Ameesha Patel recently recalled working with Saif Ali Khan in the 2008 film ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ and shared an interesting anecdote about his early days of dating Kareena Kapoor. While appearing on a podcast, Ameesha recalled how Saif had sought her help in adjusting shoot dates so he could surprise Kareena on Valentine’s Day. 

The actress spoke fondly of her experience collaborating with Saif and described him as an ‘amazing’ co-star. During the filming of the song ‘Lazy Lamhe’, Ameesha suffered a minor accident on set, and it was Saif who immediately came to her aid. She also revealed that the two bonded over their mutual love for books and similar educational backgrounds

Sharing details about Saif’s request, Ameesha told Instant Bollywood, “During the course of the shoot of Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Valentine’s Day happened, and Saif had recently started dating Kareena. Saif called me one day and said, ‘Listen Ameesha, I need these dates but Adi (Aditya Chopra) has said check with Ameesha if she’s willing to adjust. I want to go to LA to be with Kareena and I want to take her out,’ and I was like, ‘Ok Saif, I’ll adjust my dates.’”

Praising Saif’s professionalism and journey in the industry, she added, “Saif is very professional and sorted and that’s why he has gone from power to power, to power.” 

Saif and Kareena’s love story began in 2007 while filming Tashan, and they soon became one of Bollywood’s most talked-about couples. The two tied the knot in 2012 and are now parents to sons Taimur and Jeh. 

Apart from Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Ameesha and Saif also shared screen space in the 2013 thriller Race 2.
