Virat Kohli's Dating Jitters And Anushka Sharma’s ‘Cheesy’ Tease In New Ad Have Fans Saying ‘Aww’

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have once again charmed their fans, this time by starring together in a new campaign for Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have once again charmed their fans, this time by starring together in a new campaign for Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism. The couple has lent their star power to showcase the allure of Dubai.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's new ad

The ad film, which has been making waves on Reddit, captures the couple’s natural chemistry as they enjoy a cosy evening by the bonfire. In one heartwarming moment, Anushka teasingly asks Virat, “How are you so amazing?” to which he cheekily responds, “What can I say I have learnt from the best,” drawing a giggle from Anushka as she calls him “cheesy” — only for Virat to correct her, saying “pessy.”

The video also features the couple by Dubai’s stunning waterfront, where they spot another pair and Virat affectionately points out, “Cute couple!” When Anushka wonders aloud if they’re just friends, Virat confidently insists, “They are on a date... See he is nervous. Even I used to be,” prompting Anushka to softly say “aww.”

Netizens react

Fans online couldn’t help but swoon over their adorable dynamic. “When did Virat get so good at acting? He surely can replace newbies in Bollywood,” one admirer wrote, while another chimed in, “VK is a natural. He should try acting gigs after retirement.” Some viewers even mused that “Virat is terrific! But I love how Anushka blushes. It's so natural and spontaneous. I am sure having Virat as the 'co-star' helps.”

Virat and Anushka on their love for Dubai

The pair has teamed up with Visit Dubai for its 'Dubai, Ready For a Surprise' campaign. Sharing his love for the city, Virat said, “Dubai holds a special place for Anushka and me –. The moment we land, everything – from the flavours to the energy – feels just right. Even my favourite chole bhature tastes just as good here! But what amazes us is how the city feels familiar yet always has something new to offer. Whether it’s adventure, peaceful moments in the dunes, or just vibing to the perfect playlist on the beach, there’s always something for everyone.”

Anushka echoed this sentiment, saying, “Every visit to Dubai feels like a new discovery. Whether it’s for work, or to be with friends, the city surprises you in the best ways. It is a warm city, extremely comforting yet very exciting and there is something new to explore always. From thrilling adventures to unexpected moments, Dubai has a way of matching every mood and every need.”

Virat and Anushka, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy back in 2017, are parents to two children: daughter Vamika, born in 2021, and son Akaay, who was born in February 2024.
