New Delhi: The audience has been quite in love with actor Varun Sharma's portrayal as Choocha in the Fukrey series. He initially portrayed the part in the popular 2013 film Fukrey, which was followed by the similarly successful 2017 sequel Fukrey Returns, and now Fukrey 3.
Varun Sharma talked about his beloved character Choocha during an interview with ANI. He said, "Choocha is very special to me. Fukrey as a film and franchise is very special. I began with this film and character. Every actor dreams of a break where they get to showcase their talent…Choocha has given me a lot…”
He further continued, "Choocha and Fukrey have given me the acceptance and love of the audience. The journey to the third installment has been very beautiful. The third part has also received a lot of love and appreciation...The film has crossed ₹100 crore mark today."
Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadha, and Manjot Singh play the key characters in Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's recently released 'Fukrey 3'. Fans and critics responded enthusiastically to the movie.
As the film entered the Rs 100 crore club, Varun took to his Instagram and thanked his fans for all the love and appreciation. Both Fukrey and Fukrey Returns had the audiences in splits and became box office successes in 2013 and 2017, respectively. The third installment of the popular trilogy only featured a brief cameo from actor Ali Fazal, who had roles in the prior two films.
