Sonakshi Sinha wedding: After Shatrughan Sinha, now Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha has also reacted to the reports of the actor’s wedding on June 23. Reports suggest that Sonakshi will marry her longtime beau and fellow actor Zaheer Iqbal in Mumbai on June 23.  Luv said he doesn’t want to comment on the wedding reports.

Luv told HT City, “I won’t be commenting. It’s better if you reach out to Sonakshi or the other person. All I can say is I have nothing to say on this matter.”   

Luv also spoke to ETimes and said that he has “no involvement in the matter”. 

Shatrughan Sinha reacts to Sonakshi's wedding rumours

Earlier, Shatrughan Sinha reacted to the wedding report and said that he is not aware of this development. “She hasn't told me anything about it. Main bhi utna hi jaanta hu jitna main media maine padha hai (I know only as much as I can from the media I read). If and when she takes me into confidence, my wife and I will give the couple my blessings. We wish her happiness always,” he told Times Now.  

He further said, "I am being asked by people close to me why I am not aware of this and the media is aware of it. All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maap-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (these days, children don't seek permission from parents, they just inform). We are waiting to be informed.” 

According to the Times of India, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding is set to take place at the luxurious Bastian – At the Top in Mumbai. The event will be an intimate yet grand affair, with close friends and family members in attendance. The dress code for the celebration is "festive and formal," promising a stylish and vibrant atmosphere.

The wedding festivities will begin with a Sangeet ceremony on June 19 in Mumbai, which will be a close-knit gathering. The wedding ceremony itself is scheduled for the morning of June 23, followed by a lavish reception in the evening. 

The report mentions a unique invitation designed to look like a magazine cover, playfully confirming the nuptial rumours with the tagline, "the rumors are true." The wedding planning has been in progress for a while, with the family postponing preparations until after the recent elections. Sonakshi’s father, actor and MP Shatrughan Sinha, secured his seat from Asansol, West Bengal, adding an extra layer of celebration to the wedding. 

Sohail and Zaheer have also worked together in the 2022 film ‘Double XL’ also starring Huma Qureshi.
