In Mumbai's Bandra area, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act of 1954 in the presence of their families and a few close friends.

Sonakshi and Zaheer took to their social media handles to share their first wedding pictures. The couple looks adorable as newlyweds.
Sharing the pictures, Sonakshi captioned it as, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife.

Recently, an audio invite of Sonakshi and Zaheer went viral on social media platforms. In the leaked invite, the actors confimed the news of the marriage by stating that they are ready to arrive at 'the moment' which would turn them into each other's 'definite and official husband and wife'.
The digital invitation is styled like a magazine cover with a headline. The invitation features a picture of Zaheer and Sonakshi in a snow-covered setting, with Zaheer planting a kiss on Sonakshi's cheek. However, Sonakshi and Zaheer have been quiet about their relationship since their dating rumours surfaced.
Sonakshi and Zaheer had a registered marriage. The couple will then host a party at the celebs-frequented restaurant Bastian in Mumbai. The couple also hosted an indoor party on June 20 and mehendi ceremony on June 21, 2024.
The party saw the likes of their close friends and family, including Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha in attendance.
