The couple has even turned off their comments on Instagram to shield themselves from trolls. On Tuesday, Sonakshi sent a subtle message to their trollers, hinting that love is what truly matters.

Sonakshi left a comment on an artist's Instagram post that featured an artwork of the newlyweds in their wedding reception attire. The artist had captioned the post, “Love is the universal religion. Sonakshi and Zaheer chose a civil marriage ceremony held at her home on Sunday, attended by her parents, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha, and Zaheer's parents. Later, the couple hosted a reception for their friends and family at a restaurant in Mumbai, with notable attendees including Salman Khan, Rekha, Kajol, and Raveena Tandon. 

The couple, Sonakshi, 37, and Zaheer, 35, shared photos from their reception in a joint Instagram post, where comments were disabled, similar to their wedding announcement, due to the reported hatred they faced for their inter-faith union.
