'I Am But A Mere Actor': SRK Pens Emotional Note As Fans Throng Mannat On His Birthday

SRK Birthday: Videos of a sea of fans outside Mannat carrying placards of SRK amid chants of 'King Khan' flooded social media.

Bollywood's 'Badshaah' Shah Rukh Khan turned 58 on November 2 and as per the annual 'ritual', thousands of fans thronged his house Mannat at Mumbai's Bandra. Videos of a sea of fans outside Mannat carrying placards of SRK amid chants of 'King Khan' flooded social media on Thursday.

At the stroke of midnight, SRK finally showed up at his balcony as loud cheers rent the air. Dressed in a black T-shirt paired with cargo pants, sunglasses and a baseball cap, the "king of romance" greeted his fans with a namaste, blew kisses at them and did his iconic DDLJ pose.

Later, King Khan took to X, formerly Twitter, to thank his fans. "It's unbelievable that so many of u came and wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier, than, the fact that I can entertain u a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank u for allowing me to entertain u all. C u in the morning…on the screen & off it."

Diwali came early to Bandra as several fans also burst crackers to celebrate their favourite superstar's special day.

After two consecutive blockbusters -- ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’ -- King Khan is gearing up for his next release ‘Dunki,’ which is going to be his first ever collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani and Taapsee Pannu.

SRK’s ‘Pathaan’ had a record-breaking performance, collecting Rs 1,050.30 crore worldwide and Rs 543.05 crore in India. His next film ‘Jawan’ proved to be a superhit too, collecting approximately Rs 1146 crore worldwide along with becoming the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
