PM Modi Oath Ceremony: From Shah Rukh Khan To Rajinikanth, Celebrities Grace Rashtrapati Bhavan Event

As Narendra Modi takes oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term, several dignitaries including celebrities are also present at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, to witness the same.

New Delhi: As Narendra Modi takes oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term on Sunday, several dignitaries including celebrities are also present at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, in New Delhi to witness the same.

Earlier in the day, megastar Rajinikanth was spotted leaving for Delhi from his residence in Chennai. Rajinikanth had told reporters waiting outside the airport, "I am going to take part in the swearing-in ceremony... It is a very historic event… Assuming office for the third consecutive term is Narendra Modi’s big achievement, my hearty greetings to him. People have elected a robust opposition which is a healthy sign for democracy."

 

The Tamil star was also asked about his expectation over the next five years to which Rajinikanth said that the governance will be good and that is what is expected by everyone.

 

Now, several Bollywood celebs have also been spotted at the swearing in ceremony.

'12th Fail' star Vikrant Massey and 'Dunki' filmmaker Rajkummar Hirani were both seen at Rashtrapati Bhawan as was actor Akshay Kumar.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani are also present for the oath taking ceremony.

 

Among other celebrities who will also be attending the oath-taking ceremony, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Kailash Kher, and Anil Kapoor will also be present.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut, BJP MP from Mandi, Himchal Pradesh was also spotted at Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony.
