New Delhi: Sara Ali Khan was recently seen giving food packets to the needy in front of a temple in Juhu, Mumbai. The ‘Murder Mystery’ star prayed before interacting with the poor and giving them food packages. But when she saw that the paparazzi were filming her, she requested them to stop, saying, "Please mat karo." Mai aap logo se binti kar kar thak gayi. Please (please do not) do Aap mat kijiye. ( I've pleaded enough. Don't do this, please.) Sara frequently greets the paparazzi with her trademark "namaste" and a smile. In response to the incident, Sara's aunt Saba Pataudi disclosed that, on Saturday, she also gives sweets to the less fortunate when there are no cameras around.

Saba wrote, “I do the same every Saturday. Without calling paps (with a wink emoji). Don’t film it. Takes away from the cause. She’s trying to say the same (sic)”

Saba’s comment sparked a controversy on Reddit wherein some Sara Ali Khan fans thought that the aunt was making an indirect jibe .

“Saba indirectly boli ki Sara calls the paps (Saba is suggesting that Sara called the paps),” a user wrote.

“She meant she does not call the paps, unlike Sara.”  Another commented,

 “She clearly says that Sara is requesting the paparazzi not to click her pictures,” a Sara Ali Khan fan wrote.

“Sara requested the paparazzi not to film, which is why Saba said that.” A comment also said.

While delivering meals, some people thought Sara was acting unaware of the paparazzi's presence. One person asked, “Why would the paparazzi be there if Sara or her team didn’t call them?”

The video attracted a lot of attention on Instagram, where followers praised Sara for her generosity and action. 

“So kind-hearted,” a fan wrote while another commented, “Asking paparazzi to stop recording was such a genuine action. Also loved the way Sara stopped that lady from waking up the kid that way and asked her to do that politely.”
