Saif Ali Khan Undergoes Tricep Surgery In Mumbai : 'Part Of Wear & Tear Of What We Do'

New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan has undergone a knee surgery at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. The 53-year-old was admitted to the hospital after an old injury got triggerd while performing an action sequence for his upcoming movie. While there has been speculation about the nature of the surgery, the actor has himself shared some update on the same.

"This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern." Saif Ali Khan shared in a statement. Saif Ali Khan was most recently seen in 'Adipurush' alongside Kriti Sanon and Prabhas where he played the role of Raavan. 

As per a Telugucinema.com report, the filming of 'Devara which has been paused will be resumed soon. Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of Bhaira, the arch nemesis in the Jr. NTR-led film.

Last month, Saif Ali Khan was seen on Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan' with his mother and veteran actor Sharmila Tagore. On the episode, Sharmila Tagore had shed light on his childhood mischiefs and the famous 'Putra moh' segment when Saif could not guess the meaning of the word.

Recently, at an event, Saif Ali Khan had scolded the paparazzi for making a football tournament a media event. Saif felt the presence of the paparazzi at his 2-year-old's football game was unnecessary. Paparazzi can often be disrespectful of a celebrity’s boundaries. Saif was concerned about his children’s privacy, which they get very little of owing to their parents’ popularity. He did not want to comply with the photographers this time and found it important to let them know that they were being inappropriate.  

Kareena on the other hand was her usual nonchalant self. She offered a big smile to the cameras and took little Jeh’s hand to direct him into their car.
