Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has added another stunning destination to his list of global properties — this time, a luxurious residence at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl, in Doha, Qatar. The actor revealed the news during a press event hosted by Alfardan Group, where he shared what made the island paradise the perfect choice for his family’s new getaway home.

Praising the scenic beauty, peaceful lifestyle, and safety of Qatar, Saif expressed his deep admiration for the locale. “Think of a holiday home or a second home. There are a few things I think of. One is that it’s not very far away and it’s easily accessible. And then the other thing is, the most important thing is that it’s very safe and it feels very good to be there,” he said.
“And the concept of an island within an island is also very luxurious and beautiful, and it’s just a really lovely place to live. And the feeling you get when you’re there is the important thing, and the views, and the food, and the kind of lifestyle, and the pace of living, and these are a few of the things that led to my decision.”
Saif calls his new residence 'home away from home'
The actor, who described the residence as a “home away from home,” shared that his connection to the place grew stronger during a recent work trip. “I had gone there to do some work, and I was shooting for something, and I stayed at the property, and I thought it was amazing, and there was something about the mixture of privacy and luxury that I really liked,” Saif explained.
“And again, it was things like food and the way the menu was curated and various things like this. I mean, literally in a nutshell, it felt like home away from home, so that made it very easy. The main thing really is that it's peaceful and secluded if that's the kind of thing you are looking for.”
He also mentioned that he’s eager to bring his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their sons, Taimur and Jehangir, to experience the new space.

Saif already owns several high-profile properties around the world. The Khan family resides in a luxurious Bandra apartment in Mumbai and frequently visits the historic Pataudi Palace. Saif also has residences in London and the Swiss resort town of Gstaad.

On the professional front, Saif is gearing up for the release of Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, a high-octane Netflix thriller that starts streaming from April 25. The film, directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, stars Saif as a charming thief teaming up with Jaideep Ahlawat’s character in a daring plan to steal the ultra-rare African Red Sun diamond. Also featuring Kunal Kapoor and Nikita Dutta, the film promises an edge-of-the-seat chase led by Kapoor’s determined detective.
