Shaktimaan Casting Controversy

The question of whether Ranveer Singh is suitable to take the main part in the next Shaktimaan film has been revived due to his recent viral videos.

His enthusiastic personality and actions have been attributed by some online commenters to Mukesh Khanna's decision to pass on the role. "Bass isi vajah se ise shaktimaan nahi banaya gya" (This is why he wasn't cast as Shaktimaan), read one comment. Another joked, "Mukesh Khanna will be the happiest person today."

Someone wrote, “This is why no one takes him seriously.”

Amidst this, one fan praised him saying, “This man is very down to earth.”

Mukesh Khanna on who can play 'Shaktimaan'

In an interview with ABP News Entertainment Live, the ‘Shaktimaan’ actor Mukesh Khanna was asked who among the younger generation of actors could play the part. He said that he couldn't think of anybody.

He said, "All are great actors—Salman, Akshay, Ajay, Shah Rukh Khan. They are all talented, but the moment they appear as Shaktimaan, you’ll see Pathaan behind Shah Rukh, Bhaijaan behind Salman, Singham behind Ajay, and Hera Pheri behind Akshay. Shaalinta kisi mein nahi aayegi (That grace won’t come through). They can’t become Shaktimaan. I need someone without such an established image. I clicked because I didn’t have any image, that helped Shaktimaan to grow.”
