New Delhi: Ayan Mukerji brought together the teams from his upcoming directorial project, 'War 2' and his previous film, 'Brahmastra', for an intimate dinner in Mumbai on Sunday.

Ranbir-Alia, Jr NTR step out for dinner with Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji

Initially, a video surfaced on an Instagram paparazzo account showing Ranbir Kapoor and Jr NTR stepping out of a black SUV, both dressed in black attire. Rather than swiftly entering the restaurant, they paused, waiting for Ranbir's wife, Alia Bhatt, to join them. Alia appeared stunning in an off-shoulder white top adorned with yellow tropical prints. Following closely behind in another vehicle were filmmakers Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji.

War 2 Shooting

Hrithik and Jr NTR, stars of Ayan Mukerji's upcoming directorial 'War 2,' are currently immersed in filming the high-octane spy thriller in Mumbai. Just a few days ago, Jr NTR arrived in the city from Chennai, and leaked pictures from the sets captured him and Hrithik shooting an action-packed sequence. "War 2" is the latest installment in Aditya Chopra's ambitious YRF Spy Universe, which has already delivered hits like the Tiger franchise, "Pathaan," and the first "War," released in 2019, which also starred Hrithik and was directed by Siddharth Anand.

Brahmastra 2

Ayan Mukerji's previous directorial venture, 'Brahmastra', was a supernatural fantasy featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. It served as the inaugural installment of a trilogy. Following the completion of 'War 2,' Ayan and the team will commence shooting for 'Brahmastra: Part 2 - Dev'. Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is engaged in filming Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana', while Alia Bhatt has completed shooting for 'Jigra'.
