New Delhi: It is Parineeti Chopra's birthday today. The new bride who is enjoying her newly-married life was in the Maldives recently on a girls vacay. As Parineeti turns a year older, people close to her wished her on her special day. Parineeti's mother Reena took to her Instagram handle to pen a heartfelt note for her daughter and actor. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra also wished her cousin on her special day.

Sharing a picture from Parineeti's engagement, Reena Chopra wrote, "They say when you have a daughter you have the best friend you can ever hope for but for me you are more than just that . You are my friend, mentor, guide, punching bag.. the George Wade to My Lucy as in Two weeks notice … 😂😂😂."

Parineeti Chopra is also a triple honours holder from Manchester Business School. She worked in Yash Raj Films as a PR consultant before venturing into films.

Parineeti has had a rather eventful career and has diverse film roles to her credit. She is also a National Film Award holder.
