In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Aaliya spoke about her daughter Shora Siddiqui's reaction to her new relationship. Before going for Bigg Boss OTT 2, Aaliya had shared an Instagram post on her new relationship and had said that she has moved on. Talking about how Shora reacted, Aaliya told Bollywood Bubble in Hindi, “My daughter had asked about him, I told her there is nothing like that. She even told me that she will respect me if I tell her the truth. I will tell my daughter for sure but this is not the right time. There is always a right time for such things but this is not the time. Will tell her once she is a bit mature in a year or two.”

She also said that she doesn’t have any plans of getting married. “Mera shaadi ko leke toh kuch hai nahi bas friendship hai. Ek saath chahiye, dosti chahiye, kisike saath waqt guzarna hai. Uske alawa aur kya hai? Koi aisa toh hai nahi ki live-in mein reh rahe ho ya shaadi kar rahe ho. Ek relationship tha, ek feeling thi aur maine share kardia. Usse jyada badkar kuch bhi nahi hai (Its just a friendship, I am not thinking of marriage. I want a companionship, friendship, someone to spend time with. What else is there? Its not like I am planning to live-in with him or marrying him. Its a relationship, a feeling which I shared. Its nothing more than that),” she told Bollywood Bubble.
Aaliya on Kangana Ranaut's comments on her
In the same interview, Aaliya also spoke about Kangana Ranaut’s comments on their relationship. Aaliya said Kangana’s words “hold no value.”
“I don’t pay attention to Kangana because her words hold no value. She pokes her nose in everything, she keeps speaking about everyone. In my opinion, her words have no meaning. I will not give any importance to Kangana in my life. Nobody apart from Kangana said anything because Kangana had to support Tiku weds Sheru. She is the producer and she has to save her film. She is known for raising her voice in the wrong thing. If someone has to poke anyone, it will be Kangana,” she told Bollywood Bubble.
After 19 years of being married to Nawazuddin, the couple is now undergoing a divorce. Nawazuddin and Aaliya have two children together.
