'Shark Tank' Has A Rival. 'Sharkz' Set To Celebrate South India's Entrepreneurial Power With A TWIST

In an ecosystem where language often becomes a hurdle, 'Sharkz' flips the script by celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion.

Are you a fan of 'Shark Tank India' but would love to get a dose of entrepreneurial pitches in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, or Kannada? Well, there's a new player in town ready to make a splash in reality TV waters. Enter 'Sharkz' — a new reality show designed to spotlight and empower South India's brightest business minds.

As mentioned earlier, 'Sharkz' will be coming in four languages — 'Tamil Sharkz', 'Telugu Sharkz', 'Malayalam Sharkz', and 'Kannada Sharkz'. However, the show is not bound to any strict set of languages as the show claims to celebrate diversity, inviting founders to pitch ideas in any language they are comfortable in.

Where Will You Be Able To Watch 'Sharkz'?

'Sharkz' is all set to make its debut on Sun TV. The show's format is pretty much straightforward. Aspiring founders will step into the spotlight, showcasing their ideas to seasoned investors for funding, mentorship, and invaluable guidance.

A release date is yet to be announced.

How Can You Apply?

Online applications are now open for 'Sharkz'. Entrepreneurs with bold visions can submit their startup pitches for a shot at fame, fortune, and the chance to turn dreams into reality.

Who Are The 'Sharkz'?

This 'Sharkz' initiative is powered by Krishnamani Kannan and Arun Kumar.

Kannan is a Singapore-based entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience and a decade-long stint as an angel investor. Kannan's knack for nurturing startups makes him an invaluable mentor for emerging founders.

Kumar is the co-founder of Sharkz and the mastermind behind ParkQwik, an AI-driven parking solutions platform. With a decade of entrepreneurial grit, Kumar brings fresh insights and inspiration to the table.

How Sharkz Plans To Stand Out

There's no doubt that 'Shark Tank India' pretty much dominates every conversation related to pitches and startups in the country nowadays. However, 'Sharkz' wants to prove themselves different by not only being more inclusive, but also focus more on entrepreneurial empowerment.

Some highlights of 'Sharkz':

  • Breaking Language Barriers: Pitch in your mother tongue, because great ideas need no translation.
  • Boosting Risk Capital: Fueling India's startup boom with critical funding.
  • Transparency First: Building trust between founders and investors.
  • Compliance as a Strength: Ethical and legal standards as the foundation for lasting partnerships.

In an ecosystem where language often becomes a hurdle, 'Sharkz' flips the script by celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion.

Positioned as a fierce competitor to 'Shark Tank India', the show promises to spark a new wave of entrepreneurial success stories from the heart of South India.
