Recently, Mukesh Khanna announced his return as Shakitmaan. Sporting the desi superhero's costume at 66, the actor confirmed that he will be reprising the role himself. While earlier there were talks of Ranveer Singh reprising the iconic role in a 'Shakitmaan' film, it seems that Khanna refused to let the actor play the part.
Khanna's announcement about reprising the role himself did not go down well among his audiences.
Many stated their worries about the aged-actor doing stunts of a young superhero and claimed that the character will not sit well now, in this day and age.
