Rhea Chakraborty Recalls Hateful Remarks And Labels She Received After Sushant Singh Rajput's Death
While discussing her own struggles, Rhea Chakraborty said that she has been labelled after Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
New Delhi: Rhea Chakraborty has just returned to the small screen as a member of MTV Roadies' 19th season's gang leadership. The other members of the judging panel are Prince Narula, Gautam Gulati and Sonu Sood, in addition to Rhea. Rhea Chakraborty was the target of fan backlash and a media trial after her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput's death. She claims that many people have tried to label her, but she refuses to accept any of them.
At the MTV Roadies Season 19 audition, Rhea expressed her support for the contender Shuly Nadar by talking about the importance of loving your body. The actress described how she made the conscious decision to keep going despite the challenges she faced at the time of Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
Rhea Said, “A lot of people will say a lot of things. I have been labelled with many names, and many things have been said about me. But will I accept those labels? Kya main unke wajah se apne life me rukungi? Bilkul bhi nahi." (Will that stop me from living the life I want, Absolutely not.)”

Shuly Nadar boldly spoke up about her abusive relationship. She went on to discuss the many negative stereotypes and discrimination she had to overcome due to her skin tone. Rhea Chakraborty replied to this by stating, "Nothing is wrong with your colour, you are absolutely beautiful and strong."
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty was last seen in the 2021 thriller ‘Chehre’, in which she co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. Rhea has avoided the spotlight since her detention and subsequent release after Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide.
