Diljit shared his experience with fans by posting a reel on Instagram, where he can be seen offering prayers to the presiding deity, Shiva in the form of a Swayambhu lingam. His caption simply read, “Jai Shri MAHAKAL.”
Diljit recently wrapped up a performance in Indore and will be performing next in Chandigarh on December 14, followed by a concert in Mumbai on December 19. His tour will conclude in Guwahati on December 29. On December 9, he posted a lighthearted video showing fans climbing onto the roof of a truck to catch a glimpse of him and his concert.
During his Indore performance, Diljit also addressed the issue of black marketing of tickets for his concerts. He explained, "People have long blamed me for tickets being sold in black, but it's not my fault. If someone buys a ticket for Rs. 10 and sells it for Rs. 100, the artist is not responsible." He recited a poem by Rahat Indori to emphasize his point, expressing that such issues have existed in India since the time of cinema, though the means of black marketing have evolved. He added that he wasn’t afraid of any defamation, as these problems are not new.
